Might not be a whole lot to this site & blog, but I needed a space & email for side hustles that isn’t connected to my usual social media.

We’re all in the same boat – capitalism is trying to kill us all, employers have us between a rock and a hard place, and no one is making enough to cover the bills.

So, here we are, and here is a little poem.

The CEO says, “We know you’re overworked, but help is on the way.”

Knowing that all the job listings are ghost postings.

The CEO says, “Our pay is consistent with the industry.”

“Our pay” means “My pay.”

The CEO says “Your job is secure.” 

As they plan to have you train your replacement who works on the other side of the world.

The CEO says, “We’re sorry you’re sick, please focus on getting better.”

As they calculate when exactly they can make you redundant.

The CEO says, “Everything is great.”
